To tell you more about myself, I am Southern Sudanese by birth, and a citizen of Australia. This itself is unimaginable by human standards, but God turned it around for good. It was never my dream to be a refugee, neither was it for my Southern Sudanese’s fellow citizens wherever they are. Growing up as a child soldier and ending up in the western world was an unforgettable. Therefore, I feel more encouraged to share my beliefs with the rest of the world.
I strongly believe success is founded in belief and determination. Southern Sudanese believe one day there will be peace in Southern Sudan. One day Southern Sudanese would not be second-class citizens. One day there will be no more Southern Sudanese refugees. One day there will be no more blood shed in the land of Southern Sudan. Nor would there be poverty, disease, rape, the killing of one another, and a lack of education; I believed one day is today.
Southern Sudan is the country of progress, unity, peace and equality. For me, unity is the aim, working together is the objective; development is the mission and the progress is the vision of Southern Sudan.
